Founded in 2014 by Omusi Ranger, the organization runs on what's often called a wraparound model. Individual and family counseling sits alongside medication management and clinical assessments, so a person's mental health care and their daily life get treated as one continuous picture instead of separate appointments. Case management and peer support handle the practical side of recovery, connecting clients to benefits, transportation, and community resources. Housing assistance and crisis intervention step in for the moments that can't wait for a scheduled visit, because stability rarely arrives through one service alone. In 2015 the team launched SHIP, the Supporting Housing Individual Program, bringing in volunteers and donors to help clients build even sturdier footing once formal services wrap up.

That range of care, delivered from offices in Orlando and Rockledge across Central Florida, is exactly what earned Bridges Community Support Services, Inc. their 2026 Best of Florida Regional Award this year.
