Parrots, Palms, & Party Plans!
The forecast calls for feathers, flip-flops, and a whole lot of Trop Rock! ParrotPhest 2026 is taking over Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach Oct. 1–4, bringing four days of steel drums, tropical getups, and live music to the Gulf.
Turn Up the Trop Rock
The music starts Thursday night, with Caribbean Chillers taking over License to Chill Bar & Grill and Stephen Clark playing Lah De Dah Beach Bar & Grill. From there, the ParrotPhest schedule spreads the entertainment across the resort, including License to Chill Theatre and JWB Grill.
Friday packs in Reggie Starrett, Sebastian Portillo, Monallo Band, and more, but there’s room between sets for a little competitive tropical dressing. A Welcome Meet ’n’ Greet leads into the Parrot Pageant at License to Chill Bar & Grill, where guests can show up in their best Parrothead attire and compete for a future three-night stay at the resort.
The weekend also includes raffles benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association, adding a charitable piece to all those Hawaiian shirts, beach hats, and tropical tunes.
Saturday Keeps the Party Moving
Saturday starts with steel drums from Orlando Phillips before Stephen Clark and the Rudy Cox Duo continue the music. Jim Asbell and the Tropiholics take over the License to Chill Theatre that evening, while Sebastian Portillo returns to JWB Grill.
And anyone assuming Sunday is simply checkout day might want to hold onto the flip-flops. Nax Steel Drums plays during Breakfast on the Terrace, followed later by Nathan Tata at License to Chill Bar & Grill. Briz & Lady close out ParrotPhest at Lah De Dah Beach Bar & Grill.
The setup makes good use of Fort Myers Beach itself. Instead of funneling everyone toward a single stage, ParrotPhest moves the music among restaurants, bars, gathering spaces, and beachfront settings, giving visitors a reason to explore the resort while the soundtrack follows along.
For a beach town built for toes-in-the-sand entertainment, four days of Trop Rock fit the calendar nicely. October may technically be fall, but nobody told the steel drums!
