Framing Florida, One Shot at a Time

Framing Florida, One Shot at a Time

In downtown Stuart, where coastal charm meets creative soul, Gallery 36 stands out as more than just a fine art gallery—it’s a personal invitation to see the world through the eyes of an award-winning photographer. From quiet beaches and vintage cars to zoomed-in florals and wildlife in motion, every photo tells a story you didn’t know you were missing.

At the center of it all is photographer and gallery director Lisa Renee Ludlum, whose work earned Gallery 36 a 2024 Best of Florida Regional Award—and now, the 2025 Best of Florida title, too. Her style? A blend of technical mastery and heart. “My lens is an extension of my eye and my camera is a window into my soul,” she says. Lisa specializes in capturing what most people walk right past—tiny details, fleeting light, and those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments.

What truly sets Gallery 36 apart is its personalized, boutique-style experience. Every piece is customizable—think sleek acrylics or gallery-wrapped canvas—and Lisa offers wall design consultations that help clients curate collections that belong, not just hang. It’s part gallery, part design studio, and totally Treasure Coast.

But Lisa’s reach goes far beyond the gallery walls. She mentors students, co-chairs the annual mARTies awards, sits on multiple arts boards, and works with local schools and nonprofits. Her favorite quote? Thoreau’s “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” And once you’ve stepped into Gallery 36, you’ll see things a little differently, too.
