PSG Security Academy

PSG Security Academy is the only Florida security officer academy named “Best of Florida” in the Specialized Education Programs category for three consecutive years—2024, 2025, and 2026.

Founder and Chief Instructor Kelly Flanagan is a service-connected disabled veteran who retired after 20 years as a U.S. Air Force Security Police officer. A veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Southern Watch, he received three Air Force Commendation Medals, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and numerous other honors. He has served as a military and law enforcement firearms instructor since 1996.

Established in 2020, PSG has earned more than 250 five-star reviews and maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Our programs include Florida Class “D” and “G” security officer training, CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed certifications, concealed-weapons classes, firearms requalification, and beginner and security-officer AR-15 and shotgun courses. Veterans always receive a discount.

We sincerely thank our students for their continued support, votes, and outstanding reviews. Whether you are beginning a career in protective services or renewing your qualifications, PSG Security Academy provides the professional, hands-on training you need to succeed.

All you need is a desire to lead and a willingness to learn.

“Don’t train until you get it right—train until you can’t get it wrong.”
