We offer traditional and fondant custom cakes along with cookies, pies, cupcakes, cake balls, muffins, Dominican cake and our famous Empanadas that are so love by our customers.

I’m truly passionate about taste and quality, and I am a true believer that food is more than food. Food is all about memories, and how it can take you back to the sweetest place. Baking has really allowed my artistic side to flourish, and I have been able to apply my passion for cooking and baking, into building something that I truly adore. I am a certified and licensed chef and baker.

I’m Morena, baker, decorator, photographer, social media marketer, founder, and owner of Morena’s Cakes & More.

I grew up with a love for the kitchen, from cooking to baking pies, flan and cheesecakes, always trying something new. After graduating from Culinary School, I began working as a Cook at Gargiulo’s Italian Restaurant in Brooklyn New York where I did my internship and they kept me in their family for years. 

After that I worked for various major players in the food and beverage industry. Starbucks, Eurest Dining Services, ADT corporate, Chipotle as a Kitchen Manager & cook, The Breakers Palm Beach Resort, Morrison Dining @ Avent Health and more few others along the way.

We moved to Lake Alfred from West Palm Beach in 2019, and this has been the best decision we have made. The love and support we have received from Polk County have been overwhelming, everyone has welcomed us with open arms, we have supporters and loyal customers who travel from Orlando, Brandon, Tampa, Zephyrhills, and other counties that come to try our desserts.

Now, I work full time in my baking business, and I am very thankful to all the support from this great county.
