Counseling Hope

Counseling Hope is an expert and award-winning therapy and counseling practice. Founded in Maitland, Florida in 2009, Counseling Hope has grown from one location for in-person counseling, to multiple locations and the ability to serve residents across the state. Our founder, William Carmody, is a graduate of the University of Florida, as well as completing Mind Body Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Bill is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Certified Counselor Education Supervisor.

Not only is Counseling Hope an amazing place to find individual and couples counseling, Bill hires new grads and assist them on their journey to full licensure. Bill built the business, which has thrived for 15 years, starting with one location and one website. Due to time constraints and the commitment to building the business, Counseling Hope had not had a major social media presence, but that has changed in the past year, where Bill hired an organizational development expert to help continue to grow the practice. Through this addition, Counseling Hope is continuing to grow, hiring 2 additional therapists, and looking to hire 3 more in the next few months.

The therapists who work for Counseling Hope have diverse areas of specialty, from child therapy, teens with anxiety, to adults battling depression or addiction, and couples struggling with communication and connection issues. As part of Counseling Hope, Bill also provides counseling and board approved clearance for couples who are seeking fertility treatment.

We are proud of the work that we do with clients, as well as the educational information and support we put out into the community around mental health awareness. This fall we are expanding community outreach into the YMCA, Orange County Schools, and youth sports across central Florida as sponsors, providing access to free info sessions for teens around mental health.
