Founded in 1972 in Tampa, Florida, University Bicycle Center (UBC) is a family-operated bike shop with over 50 years of history. We specialize in the sale, repair, and customization of road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and skate-style rides. With a certified workshop and highly skilled team, we deliver top-quality technical service and a post-sale follow-up program that builds long-term trust with our customers.

We serve a diverse cycling community: urban commuters, families, mountain bike enthusiasts, and e-bike users. UBC is the only physical store in Tampa offering full repair services for electric bikes and scooters, with a bilingual staff and a warm, community-focused environment.

In addition, we operate a second location inside Alafia River State Park, where we offer mountain bike rentals, repair services, accessory sales, sports supplements, and beverages. This location connects us directly with tourists, outdoor adventurers, and cycling groups who enjoy the trails year-round.
