Salt and Mist Sea Tours

Captain Joe was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Hudson Valley Region of New York. In 2015, he enrolled in the U.S. Coast Guard’s “Captain School” and upon completion in 2016, Salt and Mist Sea Tours was born, offering Lighthouse, Marine Life and Sunset Cruises in Maine. In 2017, he opened a second location in St. Petersburg, Fl, offering Dolphin, Island and Sunset Cruises.

Due to Salt and Mist Sea Tours growth and success, TripAdvisor, the worlds largest travel platform, rated Salt and Mist Sea Tours the top Boat Tour Company in St. Petersburg, earning the “Certificate of Excellence” award in 2019. In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, Salt and Mist Sea Tours earned TripAdvisors “Travelers Choice Award”, regarding the company within the “Top 10% of Attractions Worldwide”. In 2023, Salt and Mist was a finalist in Creative Loafings Best of the Bay’s “Best Boat Charter” company in the Tampa Bay Region. Also in 2023, Spectrum Bay News 9 also featured Salt and Mist Sea Tours on their “Florida on a Tank” segment.
