Matos Jiu Jitsu

Our academy is a family-oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and enriching experience for students ages 3 and up. 

We welcome everyone, from young children taking their first class to adults pursuing personal growth and competitive goals. Our programs are designed to help students develop both on and off the mats, creating an environment where families can train together, support one another, and become part of a strong community.

While we foster a competitive atmosphere for those who wish to test themselves through tournaments and advanced training, our primary focus is helping every student reach their individual potential. Whether a member’s goal is fitness, self-defense, confidence, or competition, we provide the guidance and encouragement needed to succeed.

Our Lead Professor, Jackson Matos was born and raised in Brazil where he gathered nearly 18 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experience before migrating to the US to further his career and eventually build up to starting his very own academy in the heart of Pensacola, Florida!
