JD Maclang Boutique & Permanent Jewelry

JD Maclang Boutique is locally owned and operated by Jeanette Santiago Rich. She realized a lifelong dream when she opened the doors to her first “brick and mortar” storefront in May of 2023.

She named it using her first initial, J, D for her husband Daniel and her father, whose middle name is Maclang. Jeanette wanted her husband and her Dad represented in the name as they are the two men that have influenced and supported her the most in her life!

After enjoying a long and rewarding career in the corporate world with AT&T, she retired early and returned to her Panama City roots to be closer to her family. Panama City is where she grew up, graduated from Bay High School and attended Gulf Coast College. Her father is a retired Navy sailor. Jeanette is happy to be back home serving the community she so loves!

Although her career focused on technology, Jeanette has a strong creative side. She started making her own jewelry to wear with business and casual attire. Jeanette has a passion for fashion and enjoys creating her own, hand-crafted jewelry designs. She has sold her jewelry creations through the years, in her spare time, under the JD Maclang banner, and even had her own Etsy store.

Now her pieces are beautifully displayed inside JD Maclang Boutique. She desires to bring people joy with her classy, yet affordable, fashions and jewelry, which also includes permanent jewelry selections.

Jeanette and Daniel married in June of 1997 and have three grown children, two sons and a daughter, and five grandchildren.
