Steel Oak Coffee was founded in 2016 in Ormond Beach, Florida, with a simple promise: exceptional specialty coffee, crafted with integrity. What began as late-night roasting in a coastal garage has grown into one of Florida’s most respected specialty coffee roasters—built on authenticity, small-batch freshness, and a relentless pursuit of flavor.

From farmers market beginnings to fueling local favorites like Gold Leaf Coffee Co., Yes Coffee Co., and Soraya Mediterranean Café, Steel Oak has raised the bar for specialty coffee along Florida’s Atlantic Coast.

In 2023, we opened our dedicated roastery at 187 S. Yonge St.—a space designed for the community to experience coffee up close. Open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., visitors can get hands on with Sanremo espresso machines, taste seasonal releases, and connect with fellow specialty coffee enthusiasts.
