Gliding Stars of Central Florida

The Gliding Stars of Central Florida is an adaptive ice-skating program that enables individuals with disabilities the opportunity for physical, social, and emotional growth by fostering a team-oriented, safe, and accepting environment, that allows one to break through barriers to accomplish their dreams. 

It provides a crawl, walk, run style approach with individualized instruction for beginners, intermediate, and advanced ice skating skills using a blend of Gliding Stars, Inc and United States Figure Skating Association/Adaptive Sports instruction. Additionally, the program provides adaptive equipment, such as custom designed ice skates and ice walkers and other equipment to assist individuals with disabilities.
