Our Founder

Estate & Elder Law Counsel was founded by Jeanette Mora, a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney who brings a distinctive combination of legal and financial experience to the firm. Before practicing law, Jeanette spent more than 20 years as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, giving her a unique perspective on the intersection of family, finances, aging, asset protection, and long-term planning.

Jeanette founded Estate & Elder Law Counsel with a vision of creating a law firm where families receive not only sophisticated legal guidance, but also the education, compassion, and practical counsel they need to make confident decisions about their futures.

Today, Jeanette leads a growing legal team, including attorney Beth Roland, committed to carrying that vision forward and providing exceptional service to the families the firm serves.

Whether a client is creating an estate plan, preparing for incapacity, helping an aging parent, planning for the cost of long-term care, protecting a family member with special needs, or navigating probate or trust administration after the loss of a loved one, our goal is to provide a clear path forward.
