The Local Habit is a community-driven nonprofit based in Central Florida dedicated to bringing people together, supporting small businesses, and creating meaningful opportunities for connection

Through our weekly community market in Lake Nona, we provide a welcoming space where families, entrepreneurs, and neighbors can gather, discover local businesses, and build lasting relationships. Each week, the market hosts dozens of small businesses, food vendors, and community partners while offering family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and opportunities to engage with local initiatives.

Beyond the market itself, our nonprofit focuses on strengthening the community through programs that empower youth entrepreneurs, support families in need, promote sustainability through initiatives like book and clothing swaps, and create access to resources that help people thrive.

The Local Habit is built on a simple belief: when people consistently show up for one another, community becomes stronger. By creating spaces where connection, collaboration, and local support happen every week, we are helping make community not just an idea—but a habit.
