About
Marion County Animal Services is the largest animal shelter in the county. Presently, there are over 600 animals in our care. They are housed at our shelter and in foster care.
Our services include animal control, a Shelter, Neuter, Release (SNR) program, a low-cost spay/neuter service, an inmate dog-training program called the FIDO Project, pet licensing, microchip clinics, a place for owners to look for their lost pets, public education, volunteer and foster care programs, outreach events, and most importantly, pet adoptions!
Last calendar year, we adopted out 2,858 pets and reunited 2,854 pets with the owners. If you would like to help us continue our lifesaving work, please adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, and follow us on Facebook and share our posts. Everyone can do something to be part of the solution!
