Yo Daddio! Barbecue is a family-owned craft barbecue company operating from a barbecue trailer in Nokomis, Florida. We specialize in authentic Texas-style barbecue, smoked low and slow with a simple philosophy: Where the Meat Speaks for Itself.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Dawn and Mark Daddino, Yo Daddio! Barbecue grew from a backyard passion into a full-time business after more than a decade of learning, practicing, and refining the craft of Texas barbecue. What started with a Christmas gift—a smoker from Dawn to Mark—became a dream they built together.

Inspired by some of Texas’ most respected pitmasters, our menu features brisket, pulled pork, turkey breast, Southside Market smoked sausage, scratch-made sides, and our signature Texas Twinkies. We season our meats to let their natural flavor shine and serve our sauces on the side because we believe great barbecue doesn’t need to be covered up.

Every tray we serve reflects our commitment to quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. We believe barbecue brings people together, and we work hard to make every guest feel like family.

We’re honored to be a 2026 Best of Sarasota Finalist, a 2026 Best of Florida Awards Nominee, and the People’s Choice – Best BBQ winner at the 2026 Venice Blues, Rock, Reggae & BBQ Festival.
