Stop & Play was created for parents by moms, Marlo Planas & Karen Gross, after Marlo took a cross-country road trip with her 3 kids and learned about the concept on on-demand drop-in childcare in other states! She wondered why we didn't have this in South Florida! We needed this! Stop & Play was born in 2020, just before the pandemic. Not only did Stop & Play survive, it thrived, Even receiving recognition and a grant from Global giving and the Red Backback fund for female entrepreneurs! Stop & Play offers flexible, on-demand childcare solutions for families on the go; whether local or visitors to the Miami area looking for drop-in care. Options include: Monthly Preschool, VPK, Weekly flexible preschool, Full time care and flexible preschool, Saturday Playcare, Weekend Parents' Night Out, Camps, After school care, Afternoon enrichment classes, Parenting Workshops, and hourly, on-demand, drop-in care. All of this in a clean, secure, eco-friendly environment.
