Dr. Afrooz completed his plastic surgery residency at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center well known amongst plastic surgeons as one of the oldest and most prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the world. While at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Afrooz gained extensive experience in cancer and trauma reconstruction while also advancing his interest in modern aesthetic surgery.

Following residency training, Dr. Afrooz was selected for fellowship training at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute.
