Vargas Taekwondo

Vargas Taekwondo is a family business, owned and operated by Grandmaster Peter Vargas, 7th Dan Black Belt, and Master Instructor Linda Vargas, 4th Dan Black Belt. Both hold 3rd Dan Black Belts from Kukkiwon the Republic of South Korea Taekwondo Headquarters. Being a teacher has always come naturally to Grandmaster Peter. He started off as a Marine Corps Instructor and then taught ROTC in High School after his retirement. While teaching high school, he started his taekwondo journey; later joined by his wife, Master Instructor Linda Vargas, who began her Taekwondo journey as an adult by leaving her Real Estate Career to become a Martial arts instructor and Mentor.

A few years later, when Peter earned his second-degree Black Belt, he decided to open his school in 2002. Pete and Linda are proud of the community growth that they’ve created since opening their gym in Lake Mary, Florida. Vargas Taekwondo has become more than just a place for martial arts and fitness. Through the years, relationships have grown, and bonds have deepened. 

Vargas Taekwondo is more than a gym now; it is a family where we build friendships that last a lifetime.
