Paws Fur Recovery Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based on a peaceful ranch in Indiantown, Florida, proudly serving the Treasure Coast and surrounding communities. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome at-risk dogs—while also helping humans heal in the process.

We specialize in the rescue of abandoned, neglected, senior, and medically at-risk dogs, providing them with the veterinary care, behavioral support, and love they need to recover and thrive. We are proudly community-funded, relying on donations and grassroots support to carry out our life-saving work.

What makes us different is our focus on second chances—not just for dogs, but for people, too. Through experiential dog therapy programs, we provide healing opportunities for individuals recovering from mental health challenges, addiction and trauma. Our outreach includes therapy dog visits to nursing homes and hospitals, and we also partner with veterans, helping connect them with service dog referrals, emotional support animals, and meaningful volunteer work.
