A Pioneer's Vision, Built in 1919

The legacy of our estate dates back to 1919, when South Florida pioneer William Karl Walton envisioned its creation. In a region still being carved from the wilderness, Mr. Walton chose to create something enduring. He commissioned a charming, English-style cottage to be built from native coral rock and local timber.

This unique architectural style was a beautiful statement against the surrounding landscape of mango and avocado groves. The home was a testament to a pioneering spirit, reflecting a desire to create a place of lasting substance and beauty. For more than 100 years, this house has remained a landmark of classic design and expert craftsmanship in the heart of Homestead.

The Estate Today: A Tropical Paradise

Today, that historic vision has blossomed into the botanical paradise you see before you. The original cottage remains the heart of the estate, now serving as an elegant and private Bridal Suite. The surrounding five acres have been carefully cultivated into a sanctuary of winding gardens, a sparkling waterfall, a serene swan lake, and a crystal-clear lagoon.

The estate is also a haven for an array of exotic wildlife. Our resident flamingos, macaws, and peacocks add a touch of the extraordinary to every event, creating a vibrant, living atmosphere for you and your guests. While our beautiful, air-conditioned Love Bird Stable offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort for receptions, the estate also features numerous open-air spaces ideal for larger gatherings.
