At Warren Willis Camp and Conference Center, summer is more than a season—it’s a sacred opportunity for young people to grow in faith, build lifelong friendships, and create lasting memories. Nestled along the shores of Lake Griffin in the heart of Central Florida, our campus is a vibrant ministry of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. We proudly welcome youth from United Methodist congregations, other Christian denominations, and a wide variety of faith backgrounds from across the state and beyond.

Summer camp is the heartbeat of Warren Willis. Each year, we host six weeks of Christ-centered, high-energy overnight camp for rising 4th–12th graders. Campers dive into dynamic worship, small group discussions, outdoor adventures, and wildly fun activities like messy games and color wars. From paddling on the lake to singing during powerful evening worship, every moment is designed to help young people encounter God, discover their identity, and experience deep connection and belonging.

Led by a passionate team of summer staff and trained counselors, our camp creates safe, inclusive spaces where youth can be themselves, take healthy risks, and grow emotionally, spiritually, and socially. We also offer age-appropriate day camp experiences for elementary-aged children, ensuring a meaningful and accessible introduction to the camp experience for all families.

Outside of summer, Warren Willis serves as a year-round retreat center, hosting churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations seeking rest, renewal, and connection. With a “no frills, just space to breathe” philosophy, our campus features lakefront views, shaded live oaks, walking trails, a peaceful outdoor labyrinth, and fire pits that invite reflection and community.

We also offer a variety of weekend retreats throughout the year that mirror the energy and spirit of summer camp—such as Confirmation Retreats, Created by God, Fall Youth Retreats, Family Camp, and more. These weekends are filled with worship, small group conversations, outdoor fun, and signature experiences like messy games and color wars.

Additionally, we’re proud to support our local Fruitland Park community through after-school programs for elementary-aged youth.
