The Shiva Yoga Shala

Shiva Yoga Shala, located in Fort Myers, Florida, has been a cornerstone of the local yoga community since its establishment in October 2015. This authentic studio offers a wide range of yoga styles, including Hot Yoga, Restorative, Sound Healing, Forrest Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, Yin, Power Vinyasa, and Aerial Yoga. Fully accredited through Yoga Alliance, Shiva Yoga Shala provides 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training certification programs and has recently completed its 9th cohort of 200-hour teacher training. The studio is known for its comprehensive workshops and specialty classes, with most teachers being 500-hour certified and Giana Montoya being a certified Forrest Yoga teacher. Committed to accessibility, Shiva Yoga Shala offers classes and programs to assisted living centers and hosts one of the only aqua yoga programs in Southwest Florida. All mat classes are livestreamed for convenience. Owned by the father/daughter team Nick and Giana Montoya, who have a combined 35 years of teaching experience, the studio also features a boutique for yoga props and apparel.
