We will provide you with superior care, paying special attention to the WELLNESS of your dog. We prefer one-on-one service with consideration to the owner’s wants and the dog’s needs. Compromise is sometimes inevitable with hair cuts. Length and condition of hair or if there is matting present must be considered when choosing a safe, comfortable cut for your dog.

We offer discussion on overall care for your dog’s skin and hair or fur because we believe it is a valuable part of making sure your beloved family member is getting the best possible service. We also need to know your lifestyle and your pets activity level to make sure we are getting you the best service. Please take time to talk to us and ask questions.  

We do not work with show dog cuts. Our service is to your dog first, so please do not request we hurt your dog to obtain a particular haircut. Double coated dogs can be permanently damaged by shaving their coat. We suggest a comb length of 3/4 inch or longer when possible. Please discuss your best options with your groomer.

We work with many rescue dogs and dogs with a history of abuse. Also, with elderly dogs who have trouble standing, dogs with a history of seizures and other medical issues. We applaud the efforts of new owners to retrain and regain the trust of rescue animals. To assist the owners with their special needs dog, we make time available for them (owner) to stay in shop with us. We ask that you arrange this ahead of time with us. Please inform us when you call to make your appointment that you are interested in the “owner stay” program. If you prefer, you can wait in our lobby, watch your pup on the big screen and enjoy a beverage or a snack while the groomer assesses your pet and its behavior. If needed, the groomer will come get you to assist. If you know your dog is aggressive, has dementia or severe physical issues, we ask you to talk to us ahead of time to schedule you with the correct groomer.
