Joe Semansky is the Owner/Distiller of Red Horse and resides full-time in Fort Myers.  His Hungarian Heritage lead him to open Red Horse Winery in 2009 in his hometown of Barberton, Ohio, soon after, Red Horse Distillery was founded. Upon retirement and moving to Florida, he needed something to do with his time, therefore he opened the Distillery here in Fort Myers.  Today, he is definitely keeping busy with running the stills, retail sales and suppling our distributor.  His daughter Katie, a Florida Gulf Coast Graduate, works along his side ensuring the operation runs smoothly.
