Joseph Zager earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is admitted to practice in The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and has represented clients for over 27 years.

Mr. Zager began his legal career while still in law school, interning with respected criminal defense attorneys in Broward County. After graduating, he joined the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, where he gained extensive courtroom and trial experience across multiple divisions. During his time as a prosecutor, he served in the Sexual Battery Unit and helped create the Computer Cyber Crime Unit, focusing on cases involving child pornography and computer child exploitation. He also supervised new attorneys in the Misdemeanor Division and prosecuted serious felony cases, including murder, kidnapping, aggravated battery, armed robbery, and other high-level crimes.

In 2016, Mr. Zager founded ZAGERLAW, P.A., where he handles a wide range of criminal defense and family law matters, and also assists injured workers in securing the financial and medical benefits they are entitled to. Known for his professionalism, responsiveness, and determination, he prioritizes clear communication and strong advocacy throughout every case.
