Viking Surf Camp

In 2013, Darlan Lopes, a three-time East Coast  Surfing Champion and established Viking Surf Camp in Fort Lauderdale.  As Viking Surf Camp Coach, Owner and Operator, Darlan has more than 34 years of experience surfing and competing worldwide.  He has an inspiring devotion to teaching kids and adults, and his passion for surfing reflects in his skill in coaching younger generations on surf competition strategy. 

Darlan started surfing at age 7 in Saquarema, which is considered the surfing capital of Brazil and is the official World Surf League stop for Oi Rio Pro.  Surfing is Darlan’s main passion, and his vision with the camp is to teach all the values of surfing to everyone.  We encourage you to bring yourself, your family, and your friends to experience a healthy, amazing lifestyle.
