Harmony Farms Inc

Harmony Farms is a not-for-profit, volunteer based charity providing equine assisted activities & therapy to disabled individuals of all ages to enhance their quality of life, to build confidence, independence and self-esteem.  The horse becomes the motivator ti mproved movement, muscle tone, verbalization and attention span.  Riding a horse rhythmically moves the rider's body in a manner similar to the human gait, o riders with physical needs often show improvement in flexibility, balance, muscle strength, circulation and breathing. 

We handle physical, mental and behavioral disabilities.  The program was founded in 1992 to address the need in the local community for alternative programs for the disabled.  We emphasize ABILITY, not disability!

Volunteers are needed in all aspects of the program.  Helping with the riders, barn chores, fundraising and more.
