My name is Shawn Shazell Payton, Licensed Esthetician, multi-certified Lash Artist, educator, and the founder of Mahogany Lash & Body and Mahogany Lash Academy.

I began my journey in the beauty industry with a passion for helping women feel confident, polished, and beautiful without spending hours getting ready every day. After attending Beauty and Health Institute, where I received a letter of recommendation for straight A’s and excellent punctuality, I continued to grow my craft through advanced lash certifications, hands-on experience, and years of dedication to the lash industry.

Today, Mahogany Lash & Body is known for creating soft, full, lightweight lash extensions that enhance each client’s natural beauty while focusing on comfort, retention, and healthy application. Our mission is to provide every client with a luxury lash experience that feels personal, relaxing, and results-driven.

In addition to serving clients, I also founded Mahogany Lash Academy to train and mentor future lash artists who want to build skill, confidence, and successful beauty businesses of their own.

Throughout my journey, I have been recognized in several publications, including Hustle Weekly, The US Times, Business Sharks Magazine, and more. Being nominated again for Best of Florida is such an honor, and I am grateful for every client, student, and supporter who has been part of the Mahogany Lash & Body journey.
