At Duckworth Studio, I gently challenge that idea. My work began as a personal project, a series of self-portraits that became a visual encyclopedia of my own journey. Through that process, I discovered that the most captivating images were never the “perfect” ones. They were the ones that held a story, a feeling, a little bit of beautiful imperfection. That is the experience I now create for others.

My goal is to create a portrait that is as unique as you are. I use creative techniques like light painting, where I move colored lights through the air while the camera’s shutter remains open for a few moments. This process does not just capture your likeness; it captures your energy. A soft blur from your laughter or a gentle sway is not a mistake. It is the evidence of your life, and it is what makes the portrait magical. My core mission is to help you see the art that already exists in you. You do not need to change a single thing. You are beautiful and worthy of being celebrated NOW.

I extend this same artistic philosophy to all of my work. For business branding photography, after we finish with your traditional headshot I will create artful images that tell the authentic story of your passion and your work. For your special events, I offer on-location portrait experience that includes professional studio lighting equipment to provide much more than a simple "photo booth".
