First Baptist Church Altoona

The First Baptist Church of Altoona, is the first Baptist church founded in Lake County, in 1884.

We are a small, family, hymn singing, Bible believing church!

On Sundays we have Sunday School at 9:45am. Morning Worship at 10:55am, Evening Worship at 6:00pm.

Wednesdays we have Adult and Children's Bible Studies, Youth Group and Prayer Meeting starting at 6:00pm.

The 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month we have a Food Pantry from 9am-noon.

The 2nd and 4th Saturdays we have a Thrift Store from 8am-noon. All monies go to missions, mostly local.

We host a AA meeting on Tuesdays and sponsor an American Heritage Girls Troop.
